Wedding Planning…

2 Mar

I’m getting married on November 12 of this year, and I’ve done ZERO wedding planning in the year and a half I’ve been engaged. Yeah, I’m not really sure how that’s even possible, but it is. So now that we’re 8 months away from the “Big Day” I suppose it’s time I stop procrastinating and actually start doing some planning.

I’ve enlisted the help of my best friend who will A) hopefully keep me on track and B) help me pick out an awesome location and make the day a success instead of a complete disaster.

Now that I’ve put my mind to actually planning this wedding, I’ve started digging around on Pinterest for some wedding inspiration.

Our theme: Tea Party

So far I’ve found these images to inspire my perfect tea party wedding. (God, I wish I was one of those girls who has dreamed about this day since she was 3…but I’m not, so this is a little bit like torture.)

Wedding Tea party

It’s a little Alice in Wonderland, but it’s also very romantic.

This is more like it. Classy, elegant, simple. I like the Victoria feel and those colors are amazing. Is it too girly though?

This is a little over-the-top Paris, but I am a sucker for anything Parisian. Maybe we could tone it down and allude to a Parisian theme instead of having the Eiffel Tower on EVERYTHING.

This is a little extravagant for the simple wedding I'm hoping to have, but I like the theme and color scheme. It's simple...I like simple.

Along with a tea party, our wedding theme is white peacocks, so the feather plums are a perfect touch.

What do you think? Which tea party setting is your favorite?
